Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how drive stream ("we", "us", "the app"), available at https://s1.so279tk.cc, collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information, including information received from Google APIs.
1. Information we collect
- Google account email address (scopes
openidandemail): used to identify which Google account is connected. - Google OAuth refresh token: issued by Google when you approve access; used to call the Google Drive API on your behalf.
- Google Drive data (scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file): only the video files, streaming segments, subtitles and folders that drive stream itself creates in your Google Drive, and their metadata (file IDs, names, sizes). - Administrator account data: the name, email address and hashed password of administrators who log in to manage the app.
- Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, time) kept for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use the information
- Create a folder in your Google Drive and upload your video files and processed streaming segments into it.
- Read those files back from Google Drive to stream the videos to the embedded player.
- Set "anyone with the link can view" permission on files drive stream uploads, so the player can stream them.
- Delete the files and folders drive stream created when you delete a video.
- Display the connected account's email address in the administrator dashboard.
Because drive stream uses the limited drive.file scope, Google only allows it to access files
and folders that drive stream itself created. It cannot see, read, modify or delete any other file in your
Google Drive, and it uses Google user data only to provide the features described above.
3. Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)
drive stream's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described in this policy.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties, except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with your notice.
- We do not use or transfer Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized or interest-based advertising.
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.
- Humans do not read Google user data unless you give explicit consent, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), it is required to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Video files are delivered to viewers of the websites where the administrator embeds the player. We do not share Google user data with any other third party.
5. Data storage and security
- Refresh tokens and account data are stored in our database on our own server, accessible only to authorized administrators.
- All traffic to drive stream and to Google APIs uses HTTPS (TLS) encryption.
- Administrator passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and the dashboard requires login.
- Video content uploaded through drive stream is stored in the connected Google Drive account, not sold or used for any other purpose.
6. Data retention and deletion
- We keep the Google account email and refresh token only while the account remains connected.
- When an administrator removes a connected Google account, its refresh token and email are deleted from our database.
- When a video is deleted, the files drive stream created for it in Google Drive are deleted.
- You can revoke drive stream's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. After revocation drive stream can no longer access your Google Drive.
- You may request deletion of all of your data by contacting us (see below); we will complete the request within 30 days.
7. Children's privacy
drive stream is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
9. Contact us
